Founded in 2010, Project Moshen set out to revive the style of jazz dance in Philadelphia. Combining the artistic side and the commercial side of dance, Artistic Director Kelli Moshen, blends the two styles & elements together to showcase her fast, intricate, urban style of jazz dance.

Project Moshen produces two shows a year, performs at various events, visits schools in the community, and holds master classes at Philadelphia area universities. Through these efforts, the company hopes to spread their passion, creativity, and knowledge of jazz dance to the community, along with bringing this style of jazz back to life in Philadelphia.

It is with a heavy heart that I write to tell you that Project Moshen Dance Company will have to postpone our Home Season Show, STAGES. According to the CDC, gatherings of 50 or more people must be postponed for the next 8 weeks. Unfortunately our show falls during that time. Here at Project Moshen the safety and health of our community comes first. We are working on finding another weekend for the show. Ticket holders we will contact you privately.Please stay connected with us during this time. We will post updates, classes, & past performances to keep you busy & entertained during this difficult time. Project Moshen Dance Company is pleased to present their 2020 home season show, “STAGES”. The ladies of Project Moshen invite you to explore the different stages of grief one might encounter after dealing with a major loss in life. The five stages, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance are a part of the framework that makes up our learning to live while going through a dramatic incident. The dancers through raw, beautiful movement help identify what these emotions are and hope to help guide an outsider or an individual learn to cope. STAGES features all new work by Artistic Director/ choreographer Kelli Moshen.
