Project Moshen - An All Female Jazz Dance Company

An All Female Jazz Dance Company

Founded in 2010, Project Moshen set out to revive the style of jazz dance in Philadelphia. Combining the artistic side and the commercial side of dance, Artistic Director Kelli Moshen, blends the two styles & elements together to showcase her fast, intricate, urban style of jazz dance.

Project Moshen produces two shows a year, performs at various events, visits schools in the community, and holds master classes at Philadelphia area universities. Through these efforts, the company hopes to spread their passion, creativity, and knowledge of jazz dance to the community, along with bringing this style of jazz back to life in Philadelphia.

Join us for EXCERPTS, benefitting the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation, on Saturday, December 2nd at the Performance Garage! This year's event is extra special as we are celebrating the five year anniversary of Jodi Moshen's passing, and the 23rd anniversary of SROCF.

EXCERPTS is an event that brings all families who have been affected by cancer, together. It's a night to honor our loved ones, rembember those we have lost, celebrate our survivors, advocate for our fighters, and come together as a community.

The evening kicks off with a holiday welcome reception from 7pm-8pm, which includes raffles, a silent auction, food, drinks, a photobooth, live music and more! The reception is followed by a performance by Project Moshen Dance Company and our friends from Jim Bunting Dance Company, Artist House, and more!

Don't miss our biggest and best EXCERPTS yet!

If you would like to donate to EXCERPTS today, Venmo your donation to @projectmoshen. Our goal this year is to raise $3,000 for our friends at Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation!
