Founded in 2010, Project Moshen set out to revive the style of jazz dance in Philadelphia. Combining the artistic side and the commercial side of dance, Artistic Director Kelli Moshen, blends the two styles & elements together to showcase her fast, intricate, urban style of jazz dance.

Project Moshen produces two shows a year, performs at various events, visits schools in the community, and holds master classes at Philadelphia area universities. Through these efforts, the company hopes to spread their passion, creativity, and knowledge of jazz dance to the community, along with bringing this style of jazz back to life in Philadelphia.

 

 

June Update!

It’s June and we have some exciting things happening this summer!

First up is our Summer Workshop Series starting on June 22nd! Our first workshop is Contemporary Jazz with Kelli Moshen. All workshops are for dancers 15+ at the Performance Garage from 7:30pm-9pm on June 22nd, July 13th, July 27th, and August 10th. With each workshop, you will grow as an artist and performer, learn about the industry, and train with our very own Artistic Director, and possibly dance with some of our ProMo Dancers! Up next on June 25th and August 13th we have our Company Auditions. We are searching for strong, athletic, and versatile female dancers for our 2022-23 season. Dancers must be 18+ to audition. Both auditions are at 12pm at Sound Space Performing Arts. Email info@projectmoshen.com to reserve your spot. On August 10th as a part of our Summer Workshop series we are offering a Pre Audition workshop. It is highly encouraged to attend!

Lastly, our summer event, A Night in Moshen is back and will be on August 3rd! More information will be released soon so be on the lookout on our website and social media!
