Project Moshen - Philadelphia's All Female Jazz Dance Company

Philadelphia's All Female Jazz Dance Company

Founded in 2010, Project Moshen set out to revive the style of jazz dance in Philadelphia. Combining the artistic side and the commercial side of dance, Artistic Director Kelli Moshen, blends the two styles & elements together to showcase her fast, intricate, urban style of jazz dance.

Project Moshen produces two shows a year, performs at various events, visits schools in the community, and holds master classes at Philadelphia area universities. Through these efforts, the company hopes to spread their passion, creativity, and knowledge of jazz dance to the community, along with bringing this style of jazz back to life in Philadelphia.

Introducing our newest Youth Program!

Are you a female dancer between the ages of 13 and 18? Do you train on a regular basis at a high level in Modern, Ballet, and Jazz? Are you interested in performing alongside a professional dance company or possibly pursuing a career in dance?

Introducing our Youth Performance Residency Program!

Project Moshen is seeking young dancers to perform at our fall show EXCERPTS, benefitting the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation on December 3rd, 2022 at Christ Church Neighborhood House Theater.

Project Moshen’s Youth Performance Residency enables young dancers to further their training and performance experience. This oppurtunity will help prepare you for a future in the professional dance world. This is your chance to have professional experience with Philadelphia’s own all female jazz dance company and to work closely with Artistic Director and Choreographer, Kelli Moshen, as you take your training to the next level. By the end, you will understand what it is like to be in a professional dance company, and gain an understanding of Project Moshen’s athletic, powerful, artistic, movement style. We hope to see you at auditions on October 16th at 12pm! This program runs from October 2022-December 2022 with rehearsals being on Sundays from 10:30am-12:30pm.
